Our striking "Doll
of the Moment" aka Fawntasia's exquisite gown of
burgundy and silver
compliments her raven hair. The column skirt of
burgundy chiffon
with metallic silver embroidered accents and irridescent
wine colored bugle
beads in a "leafy" pattern is lined with shiny tissue
lamé. The
hem of the skirt is trimmed with beading in a leaf-like design
using burgundy
opaque and wine translucent bugle beads and silverlined
wine and galvanized
silver seed beads repeating the design feature in
her "beaded
sash".
Fawntasia's bodice
boasts an intricate hand-beaded "sash" in a leaf-like
pattern inspired
by the fabric in her skirt and "floats" on the bodice.
It is constructed
of the samebeads described in the trimming of her skirt
hem. Opposite the
"sash", the beading is applied directly to the bodice
creating a textured
look. The bodice is encrusted with wine colored
sequins held in
place with silverlined wine seed beads below the "sash"
and all the way
around to the back. Burgundy bridal satin gloves
accesorize the
gown.
Fawntasia's raven
hair is pulled up and to the side and carefully braided
into microbraids
and then spiral curled. The asymmetry of the hairstyle
balances the asymmetry
of her extraordinary gown. Perfectly matched
earringscomplete
this stunning doll.
